Tonight The Same Moon Rises Over Dalian and Over Your City.
If you're in China, or work with Chinese partners, you'll know what today is: the Mid-Autumn Festival — our harvest moon celebration. Families travel home, tables get crowded, and mooncakes get cut into quarters so everyone gets a share. The wish we say to each other is a simple one: may we see this Mid-Autumn moon, year after year.
"Year after year" is the part I keep coming back to.
We've spent more than 20 years turning birch and bamboo into the cutlery that ends up on those tables. A birch tree takes decades to grow. A reunion dinner takes an afternoon. Neither can be hurried — and that's roughly what sustainability means to us. Not a certificate on a wall, but the ability to say "year after year" and actually mean it.
To our partners and friends across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia — thank you for another year of shared tables. Enjoy the moon.
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
